TECHNICAL CONVERTERS LTD was established in 1991. It offers coating, laminating and slitting services to the packaging industry and to a range of other specialist industries.

Its business is the lamination and coating in the reel of flexible substrates.

The company has grown steadily, and based on its technical expertise has been successful in expanding the range of material produced and the range of industries served.

A full service is being provided from designing a product to meet a customer need through to testing and producing it.

Some business is done as a toll operation using materials supplied by the customer.

Graduate chemist with over 30 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry in the UK and Europe.

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR - Mike Freeman
Graduate chemist with over 20 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry in the UK. Has wide experience of setting up SPC systems meeting ISO 9000 requirements.

FINANCIAL DIRECTOR - Simon Holder FCA
Vastly experienced in setting up and operating financial systems for small to medium sized companies. A director of several other companies in related industries.

ENGINEERING MANAGER - Colin Edwards
British Aerospace Systems trained engineer. Has worked on numerous missile and marine projects and has more recently become an expert in laminating and slitting machinery.

OTHER STAFF
Over 25 staff work on varying shift patterns to give 24 hour a day cover on key plant.
